Reduced Plastic Consumption & Ocean Clean Up
Plastic consumption is already a severe global issue, with poor disposal practices having a devastating impact on oceans and aquatic ecosystems. UUater is committed to minimizing plastic use wherever possible, ensuring responsible disposal and recycling, and adopting alternative materials when practical.

On average, plastic bottles used for packaged drinking water require only about 40 percent of the plastic used for sodas and other pressurized beverages. For agricultural supply and irrigation, no plastic packaging is used in the transit or distribution of water.

UUater is committed not only to drawing from nature, but also to giving back. We aim to support local communities by creating employment opportunities and contributing to schools, hospitals, and other essential development projects wherever economically possible.
Local Markets & Food Supplies
As part of giving back, UUater seeks to establish trade partnerships with local fisheries to supply food for our facilities on land and at sea, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship.
Illegal Sharking & Whaling Support
In alignment with our commitment to protecting oceans and wildlife, UUater is dedicated to supporting external organizations working tirelessly to combat illegal practices that kill millions of sharks and whales each year.
Reforestation
While some fossil fuel use in our operations is unavoidable, UUater is committed to minimizing consumption and offsetting its impact. To reduce our carbon footprint, we have set ambitious goals to plant large numbers of trees across diverse landscapes, advancing global reforestation and supporting local wildlife habitats.

​We plan not only to purchase carbon credits, but also to generate them through our own initiatives, creating opportunities to support other global ventures and communities.
Renewable Energies & Reduced Fossil Fuel Burning
To further reduce our carbon footprint and dependence on fossil fuels, UUater plans to integrate solar and hydroelectric power at our facilities wherever opportunities allow. This approach lowers emissions, conserves natural resources, and eases pressure on ecosystems, including plants, wildlife, and aquatic communities.
Ocean Clean Up
UUater plans to partner with and sponsor ocean cleanup initiatives dedicated to removing plastics from the sea and recycling recovered materials. These efforts not only clear waste from our oceans, but also mitigate the severe and widespread impact that plastics and microplastics are having on marine life across the planet.
